The week began Monday in Knoxville, where volunteers knocked doors for Senator Richard Briggs. The team recorded 742 attempts across 337 households, with 73 completed surveys. After an overnight stop, volunteers continued to Oak Ridge on Tuesday to support Jimmy Matlock, adding 800 attempts across 345 households and 52 completed surveys.
On Thursday, the push moved to Hamilton County for Senator Bo Watson. Volunteers logged 689 attempts across 339 households and completed 55 surveys. Two new volunteers joined the team that day, bringing JACK-PAC’s 2026 volunteer total to 25.
Friday’s trip to Springfield for Senator Kerry Roberts closed out the scheduled push. Volunteers recorded 621 attempts across 284 households, with 34 completed surveys and a 5.5% take rate.
Behind those numbers are people willing to give their time. Some volunteers used vacation days to knock doors. Others rearranged work schedules and took time away from their families to travel with the team. The overnight trips meant additional time on the road and away from home, all to help Republican Senate candidates reach voters in the closing days of the election.
With Friday’s deployment complete, JACK-PAC has finished all eight scheduled General Election trips, making 5,020 voter contact attempts. Combined with the Republican primary effort, volunteers have now logged 8,970 attempts over 15 field days in support of candidates in 10 Senate districts.
We are grateful to everyone who drove, walked neighborhoods, and made room in a busy schedule to be part of this effort. Returning volunteers kept showing up, new volunteers joined along the way, and together they carried this push from Memphis to East Tennessee and back to Middle Tennessee.
The scheduled trips are complete, but the volunteer network continues to grow. Join JACK-PAC to hear about future opportunities and help us keep showing up where the Senate majority needs us.
